Legacies are vital for the future of Polka Theatre. Only 5% of people in the UK have left a gift for a charity in their will, and yet legacies are the largest single source of income for many charities in this country today. Once you have provided for your family and friends, leaving a gift to Polka will ensure that our good work can continue for many years to come.
All legacies to charities are tax free. If you make a gift to Polka in your will, its value will be deducted from your estate before inheritance tax is calculated.
If you are thinking about leaving a legacy to Polka, or have already remembered us in your will, we would love to talk to you more about it; everything you say will be treated in the strictest confidence. We would then have the opportunity to thank you for your generosity and to plan for the future.
When considering leaving a legacy, we recommend that you consult a solicitor who will be able to give you specialist advice according to your own individual circumstances.
