Whether it’s help with your school play, bringing books to life in your
literacy hour, or using drama to support other areas of the curriculum, we
can offer tailor-made training for teachers in your school or at Polka
Theatre. Led by Polka’s experienced and inspirational Education team.
INSET sessions can last for a day, half day or twilight session.

Termly INSET sessions at Polka
Once a term, Polka’s experienced team leads an interactive and inspiring workshop for teachers at Polka Theatre. Teachers will have the opportunity to discover an inspiring range of drama exercises and resources. The theme changes each term to cover topics as varied as:

• How to use drama to teach PSHE and Citizenship
• Puppetry
• How to create a magical school production from a small school budget
• Mask making

As well as exploring useful games, techniques and exercises, teachers will leave the session with lots of free resources and discounted theatre tickets for their class too!
