POLKA THEATRE WORKSHOPS
All scenery, costumes and props used in the Polka Theatre’s productions are built in-house and our workshop also undertakes external commissions and projects.
Profits generated by Polka Theatre Workshops (PTW) through external commissions and projects are directly utilised to support the charitable endeavours of Polka Theatre.
Based within a dedicated five thousand square feet of flexible workshop space, PTW has over twenty-five years experience and skill in the production of high quality stage settings, props and costumes etc.
Recent commissions have seen PTW’s work appear in London’s West End Theatre, the Barbican and on tour nationally.
The pictures on this page give a small flavour of the range of services that PTW can provide.
If you require a corporate style set integrated into a company identity or a theatrical scene with painted backdrops or even a themed party set, we will skilfully construct the costumes, props, set and staging to enhance and utilise every aspect of your chosen venue.
Working alongside Production Managers, Designers and Events Organisers PTW can produce bespoke costumes, props, scenery, scenic art and sculptures to individual and unique specifications within a range of budgets to fit your design brief.
PTW can also provide a complete Design, Build, Installation and Production Management service for any Theatre, Party, Conference and Event clients.
Our experienced team of makers work with just about any materials, whether you need plywood / canvas flats, engineered metal constructions or polystyrene sculptures, we can produce these for you.
