KS2 PSHE & Citizenship pupils can be encouarged to:

• think about the lives of people living in other places and times, and explore different values and customs
• learn how to deal with their feelings towards themselves, their family and others in a positive way
• resolve differences by looking at alternatives, making decisions and explaining choices
• consider social and moral dilemmas that they come across in life.

KS2 History pupils can be encouraged to:

• find out about the events, people and changes studied from an appropriate range of sources of information
• use dates and historical vocabulary to describe the periods studied
• communicate their knowledge and understanding of history in a variety of ways.

KS2 English & Drama pupils can be encouraged to:

• use character, action and narrative to convey story, themes, emotions, ideas in plays they devise and script
• use dramatic techniques to explore characters and issues (for example hot seating, flashback)
• use their knowledge of other texts they have read.
