Deaf Visitors

Our Main Theatre is fitted with an induction loop system for hearing aid users. In addition, we schedule in one BSL-interpreted performance for each of our own productions, usually on a Saturday or during school holidays. Check the calendar, or contact the Box Office for dates.

Integrated workshops for both deaf and hearing children are held during each school holiday. Polka also runs a unique Summer School each year, where deaf and hearing artists and participants work with communicators to devise an original piece of theatre. Contact the Education Department on 020 8545 8326 for more details.
